Do you ever stumble across things that you feel you were meant to find? I recently had this happen as I was having a clicking spree to avoid the writing and research that I was supposed to be doing. In my defense it was quite late and it had been a long day of time in the car, poorly organized photo shoots and not enough nutrition so my body, as well as my brain, was running on empty. Clicking from page to page, images blurring past my ever failing vision, I somehow was led to the Industry of One, a blog filled with wonderful photographs and fabulous interviews of the not so usual suspects.
I immediately stopped the incessant clicking and began to read interview after interview, one after the other, giving me inspiration and momentum to keep this project going; to find that thread of insight and passion and keep moving forward one piece at a time.
I recently sent out a bunch of emails and contacted individuals I find inspiring, whose lives, for all intents and purpose, seem to be well curated. Stories that are comprised of the good, the bad, and the true make up the tapestry that is this gloriously woven life that we lead. While reading through the interviews on the Industry sight it made me realize that this style of writing is so important to our world today.
Story connects us and by realizing we are not alone in our struggles and adventures it makes the story that much more interesting. And so my dear readers, keep a look out, there will soon be interviews with fascinating folks gracing the pages (screens) of The Curated Life.
