I must admit, I tend to get a little obsessed with things... A nail polish color, a fragrance, blog, book, magazine, tv show, designer, food... you name it, I have a go to (or four 'go-tos'... also, I may have OCD just a little bit). That being said, I thought it may be a good idea to share some of my obsessions with you, because what is life we don't share the things we love!?
CURRENTLY OBSESSING OVER
The Skimm! I owe a massive shout out to my friend January for informing me of this amazing little gem. The Skimm is a service which sends you all of the top stories in the news at 6 a.m. every day (during the work week). They break down the news into little easy to digest bites and leave friendly links readily available for you to click on should that morsel not satisfy your current events cravings.
Nachos. Ok... if you follow me on twitter you have probably grasped that I have a sick addiction to the food group known as 'the nacho'... but you guys, I make them (somewhat) healthy I swear!
My day and night cream by January Labs which are pH balanced. I won't lie to you, even Drew has commented on how my skin looks which is unreal, not to mention, it makes my face oh so happy, so it is a win win.
City Swept by Bumble and bumble will accentuate that done/undone summer hair you are craving.
Cherry Bomb magazine... you guys... this magazine takes my foodie love to a whole new level.
Halt and Catch Fire, the new AMC show slated to (briefly) tide us over in between seasons of MadMen. Though this show is chock full of nerd-angst I have to admit I am falling for it's early 80's charm (also, Camerons hair deserves an entire post... just damn).
Bored to Death... ok how did I miss this show when it was on!? It is about a writer gone PI played by Jason Schwartzman, his starving artists of a best friend Zach Galifianakis, and his (boss? mentor?) other best friend who is brilliantly played by Ted Danson (the most unlikely band of characters yes, but they are amazing together). The writing is fantastic and witty, the episodes never long enough (in a good way). Not to mention I find myself wanting to hang out with these odd gentleman at the club or wine bar of their choosing, which is just the best.
Zara is really just doing it for me these days and they are having their summer sale... bye savings.
I have so many more, but I have to save some things for my next post of obsessions. Stay tuned.
Also, what are you swooning over these days? I would love to know!
