Our brains never stop.
Right now I am thinking about client work, tweets I should put up, instagrams I need to post, people I need to email, a book I want to be reading, all the tasks I need to accomplish... There is a fan humming in the background, carrying my internal dialog along, a steady stream of white noise keeping me slightly disengaged.
We worry about things we can not know, we can not accomplish, we can not control. We find ourselves 'stressed' and 'anxious' for no reason at all... the feeling just bubbling up "out of nowhere". But if we simply stop. Pause. Breath. Be kind to our brain and give it a rest, it is amazing how quickly all the noise will fade and the present will come to focus.
