So this is the New Year. The Brave Youth rang in our new year by rocking out. (Rob Froh from The Little Village also made an appearance)
I am a little ashamed of my self. Back in October I made the resolution to write one thing down every day that I am thankful for and I failed miserably. Apparently I was an ungrateful git for the whole month of December, because I didn’t write down a damn thing! This of course could not be further from the truth. I was grateful for many many things in December, however, time seemed to slip away from me like the melting snow. It just went so quickly and before I knew it the holidays had passed, the new year arrived.
Look back on things, I decided that my failure was unacceptable. And so, dear reader, I give to you my month of January, and a peek at a few of the things that I was/am thankful for.

2013 is off to a good start. There is so much riding under the surface, I can feel it churning, I just wish I understood what it all means, but soon enough. The key for now is, one day at a time. Breath in, breath out, one foot in front of the other, and soon enough the scales will tip, the domino will fall; and I will be here, fingers poised, ready to tell you all about it.
