Ok you guys, it is time. This post is long overdue. I say that because it has been on my to-do list for months now and for some reason I keep putting it off (mostly because I am lazy and it seemed like a lot of work… when in fact it was quite simple).
I want to share with you a few foodie blogs that I have mad crushes on right now. Fair warning, these blogs have amazing photos that will literally make your mouth water and your stomach growl, so view with caution.
You all know that I am a sucker for a tasty bite and a good experimental recipe. However, what I love (hate) about each of these blogs is that I want to make (absolutely) everything they come up with! It is the best (worst) thing.
First up- Wit & Vinegar. This is a new blog for me… I discovered it while clicking links on pinterest or some such site. But you guys, this blog is amazing. The food photos should be in advertising campaigns and the recipes are realistic enough for even the most kitchen challenged to understand.
Next is How Sweet It Is. This babe knows her way around the kitchen! Every day as I scroll through my Feedly (seriously though, how do you guys feel about feedly as an alternative to google reader? I’m still figuring it out) foodie section, I find myself drooling at her creations. I mean Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffle pie!? Come on! or how about Fresh Fig, Bacon, and Blue Cheese Pizza? Not fair. I would like to be in that kitchen… well, all of the time (minus the fact that all of the gluten would kill me… meh, I think it’s worth it).
Because I am trying to pace myself and not overload your growling stomachs with too much goodness, I will leave you with one last gem. Love and Lemons. This blog offers clean, healthy recipes that are beautiful, simple to prepare and delicious (such as the tequila lime fish tacos, pictured below), I am obsessed. They offer gluten free recipes as well, making me one happy camper (er… blog surfer?). From Summer salads, to vegan ice cream, insane breakfast options, and hearty meals, Love and Lemons is sure to inspire your weekly menu.
There you have it. A few crushable food blogs that are a must watch for any recipe hunter out there.
